About DPS Armored

Built on discipline. Trusted with what matters.

We are a Seattle security company that moves cash and protects people and property for businesses that can’t afford a bad day. Trained officers, clear procedures, and a signature at every handoff.

Our story

Security run like an operation, not a promise

DPS Armored was founded by security professionals who saw too many businesses carrying their own deposits, hiring guards with no supervision, and hoping nothing went wrong.

We built the company around a simple idea: every run, every shift, and every handoff should be planned, documented, and owned by someone accountable. Today we provide armored transport, cash logistics, and armed and unarmed officers to retailers, dispensaries, venues, and financial clients across Greater Seattle and Washington State.

Our leadership and officers come from private security, law enforcement, and the military. What they share is a habit of doing the job the same careful way every time, whether the client is a single storefront or a multi-location operation.

Mission & values

What we stand for on every assignment

Clients hand us their cash, their sites, and the safety of their people. These are the commitments that earn that trust, and the ones we hold every officer to.

Our mission

To protect what moves your business, your cash, your assets, and your people, with the discipline, discretion, and accountability you would expect from your own best employee.

Integrity

We say what we will do, do it, and put it in writing. No surprises in scope, pricing, or reporting.

Accountability

Signed custody, logged arrivals, and a named contact who owns your account from day one.

Discretion

Schedules, volumes, and locations stay need-to-know. We keep a low profile at your sites.

Readiness

Trained crews, maintained vehicles, and a dispatcher who answers around the clock.

The DPS standard

The people behind every assignment

A uniform is easy to issue. We spend our effort on who wears it and how they are supported on the job.

Screen

Background checks, references, and interviews with our leadership before anyone joins.

Train

State-required certification plus our own procedures for custody, de-escalation, and reporting.

Supervise

Field supervisors check in on every account, so standards hold on the night shift too.

Review

Regular reviews with clients and officers keep procedures sharp and service consistent.
